Don has been an active venture investor and early-stage entrepreneur since 1980. Since forming PHV in 1993, his experience has resulted in over 30 investments across multiple funds. He is the past Chairman of Koronis Pharma, Inc. and past board member of ViaCyte, Inc. Before embarking on his career in venture capital he was the Vice President of Planning at Holland America Lines and a manager at Price Waterhouse & Co. His education is in economics with a B.A. from Western Washington University and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
